Supplement Found to Improve Microcirculation and Glucose Metabolism
20 Feb 2017 --- Vital Solutions GmbH has announced the results of its second human study, which confirm that supplementation with its ingredient, Careless, supports and improves microcirculation and glucose metabolism.
The specialists in natural product development, sales and marketing, say that “Careless helps consumers care less about aging and body weight while delivering the great taste and pleasure of exotic mango fruits,” and that it “mimics caloric restriction, that has been shown to be one of the most effective means for slowing the pace of aging.”
The effects on microcirculation and glucose metabolism were investigated in a double blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel-design study and was conducted in healthy individuals.
The study saw a daily dose of 100 mg or 300 mg of Careless compared to placebo after supplementation for 4 weeks.
The results showed that 100 mg of Careless improved microcirculation, confirming the company’s first human study results.
In addition, 300 mg of Careless reduced postprandial glucose levels accompanied by significantly lower HbA1c values compared to baseline.
Furthermore, the 300 mg dose of Careless significantly improved postprandial endothelial function in individuals with decreased endothelial function after high-dose glucose intake.
“Dose-depending effects support the use of Careless in different applications,” said Dr. Sybille Buchwald-Werner, Managing Director at Vital Solutions.
“For example, Careless at a dosage of 100 mg is interesting for products positioned for cardiovascular health or to support physical energy and endurance.”
“Careless at a dosage of 300 mg might be beneficial for use in concepts for healthy metabolism.”
