At Vitafoods Europe 2023, which took place in Geneva, Switzerland, from May 9 to 11, the supplement and nutraceutical industry displayed its most innovative solutions to modern health needs. Sustainable solutions took the spotlight while pre-, pro- and postbiotics proliferated and ingredients to address women’s specific health needs, boost the microbiome and aid in mental, metabolic, eye joint and bone health – among others – were key focuses. At the same time, botanicals, nutraceuticals and supplements geared toward beauty-from-within, healthy aging and metabolic health also featured prominently.
