Instytutum launches longevity supplement and at-home biological age test

Instytutum, a Swiss longevity brand, has unveiled a precision Liposomal NMN + Trans-Resveratrol supplement, accompanied by an at-home biological age test. The supplement aims to support cellular energy, mental clarity, physical performance, metabolic health, overall vitality, and beauty-from-within. 

It uses a liposomal version of nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), which the company says is one of the “closest and most bioavailable” precursors of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+). 

This molecule is key to cellular energy production, DNA repair, and longevity at the cellular level, notes Instytutum. However, it naturally declines with age. Liposomal NMN supports the body’s NAD+ synthesis pathways, while the company claims that standard NMN partially breaks down in the digestive tract before reaching a user’s cells.

At-home testing

The accompanying biological age test is an at-home epigenetic saliva test to reveal users’ biological age, which Instytutum notes is a more powerful indicator of healthspan than chronological age. Such tests help assess a body’s functional and cellular age by using DNA methylation pathways as a biomarker.

The test can be used before and after supplementation to measure and track the results of the new formula.

The company also notes that clinical data show an 84% increase in blood NAD+ after four weeks.

It is paired with micronized trans-resveratrol, a longevity protein that Instytutum notes supports cellular repair, metabolic health, and reduced chronic inflammation.

Both the supplement and the test integrate with the company’s AI-powered longevity platform, which is currently undergoing minimum viable product testing.

Healthy aging advances

Healthy aging was one of the key topics at the recent Vitafoods Europe 2026 trade show, highlighting a growing interest from consumers and industry players in this space.

At the show, dsm-firmenich unveiled its science-backed longevity innovations, while Sirio launched a platform with eight ready-to-launch product concepts to help consumers build healthy longevity habits.

Research into healthy aging solutions continues to expand as well. Earlier this year, Nestlé revealed a partnership with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, for a multiyear collaboration focusing on longevity and women’s health. The partners will study aging-related issues such as metabolism, mobility, and menopause through targeted nutrition solutions.
