Sirio Europe has launched its new “habit-first” longevity platform Aeion, which will be showcased at the upcoming Vitafoods Europe nutrition industry trade fair in Barcelona, Spain (May 5–7). It is designed to help consumers build sustainable habits around long-term health with eight ready-to-launch product concepts targeting energy, mobility, heart health, and inflammaging.
The platform’s portfolio features a variety of modern delivery formats — including gummies, softgels, direct-to-mouth powders, next-generation Fizzybit tablets, and LifeChews jelly tablets.
The items were developed in collaboration with the Sirio Institute of Aging, renowned longevity researchers, and key ingredient partners.
“The launch of Aeion enables brands to quickly tap into the longevity boom,” says Alex Dens, sales director of Sirio Europe. “A huge amount of really exciting science is emerging in healthy aging, but that can feel quite overwhelming or intimidating.”

“It’s not always clear for brands how they can navigate all the evidence and translate it into products and messages that consumers will understand, believe, and adopt. Aeion was built specifically for that purpose — making it quicker and easier to commercialize effective supplements that address the needs of health-conscious individuals who want simple, effective solutions that fit effortlessly into their routines.”
Nutritional “rituals”
The first highlighted innovation in the new platform, Aeion NAD+ Energy, features Sirio’s latest delivery format, Snowmelt, which the company will showcase in an immersive room at its Vitafoods Europe 2026 booth. This instant-dissolve powder is designed for convenient, direct-to-mouth supplements that immediately dissolve on the tongue without water.
Moreover, Aeion NAD+ Energy pairs nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) with L-ergothioneine and vitamin C to support mitochondrial function and oxidative resilience for cellular health.
The platform’s portfolio features a variety of modern delivery formats — including gummies, softgels, direct-to-mouth powders, next-generation Fizzybit tablets, and LifeChews jelly tablets.Sirio highlights inflammaging or chronic low-grade inflammation, as another expanding area of scientific focus in the longevity space. The plant flavonol quercetin plays an antioxidative role in this aging process.
Quercetin occurs naturally in fruit and vegetables, but Sirio has identified that many Western consumers still eat only limited quantities of these, meaning average intakes are relatively low: 52 mg/day in Europe.
Aeion Quercetin delivers 250 mg of quercetin and 125 mg of vitamin C, which boosts quercetin absorption, in a sugar-free, pectin-based gummy. This concept is vegan and features a clean label, with a “pleasant texture,” natural yellow color, and zesty lemon flavor, which Sirio says are properties consumers prioritize.
Shifting to healthy longevity
Aeion Active softgel, designed specifically to support long-term mobility, is another concept among the eight to be unveiled in Barcelona next month.
Sirio research shows this is a growing concern for many consumers. For instance, the Survey of Health, Aging and Retirement in Europe (SHARE) has found that 30–40% of people over 65 find it difficult to walk 100 m.
Aeion Active leverages emerging science demonstrating the contribution of N-acetylglucosamine (NAG) to joint and bone comfort. It delivers 500 mg of NAG, boosted by 1,400 mg of concentrated fish oil with omega-3s and various vitamins and minerals, in two softgels per day.
Other concepts to be spotlighted at Vitafoods Europe 2026 will span health areas like heart health, metabolism, skin health, and mental energy.
Among recent Sirio innovations featured on Nutrition Insight, the company introduced LifeChews — a patented, chewable “jelly tablet” supplement in Europe. The new plant-based delivery format addresses growing consumer demand for efficacy, taste, and convenience in lipid-based supplements.
In other Vitafoods Europe 2026 content set to debut at the show, TopGum plans to introduce women’s health gummies “for every life phase,” while Lubrizol features bioavailable curcumin gummies and Nektium spotlights its stress relief, sleep support, and endurance boosters.
