The one overarching trend we are seeing in the personal care market is one towards more naturalness. “There are many ingredients in the market, doing many different things, but they all have one common theme: being more natural,” Carsten Jaeger, Global Marketing Director, AAK Personal Care, tells NutritionInsight. “There are certain ingredients the industry would like to replace,” he says. “For us, that’s one of the trends we are focused on in our product development; trying to come up with alternatives, based on our vegetable origin, and customized to personal care use.”
