SupplySide Global 2026: Givaudan targets GLP-1 users with Ayurvedic botanical Novaberin

Givaudan has launched Novaberin, a patent-pending botanical made from standardized extracts of two Ayurvedic botanicals, barberry and amla, at SupplySide Global 2026. Brian Appell, the company’s marketing manager of Nutra & Americas, discusses the ingredient’s six-month clinical study, which found support for healthy weight management, blood glucose, and lipid levels. He says Novaberin targets consumers exploring alternatives to GLP-1 medications or transitioning off them.
