Beauty from within – Cycle of glow

At Vitafoods Europe 2019, NutritionInsight spoke with Karin Hermoni about the company’s campaign to promote “the cycle of glow.”

This is Lucy Gunn at Fighter Foods 2019 in Geneva, and I'm here at the like red stands.

And this year, like it is really highlighting beauty from within and sort of the idea of glue.

What is that idea?

What is that concept really?

Yeah, so.

Beauty starts from within.

And it is that natural glow that we want to help people get out of what they have from inside.

And to do that, we developed this exhibit that is called the Cycle of Glow, and it talks about our holistic journey of rethinking beautiful and how beauty comes from within, and we look at it as a journey of three steps, nourish, balance, and sustain.

So, we first want to nourish our bodies and our souls.

We want to balance our cellular processes as much as we want to balance our experiences and if we sustain it over time, we can really reach our peak glow.

That's why we call it the cycle of glow, and we developed an app called Little Glow to support this concept.

Now, a pivotal part of it is, of course, also Lycoderm, one of your star star products basically of ingredients for this.

What's the latest for this product?

What's the latest science or news around it?

So, Lycoderm is our standardized solution for skin wellness and, and beauty from within.

It's a tomato extract standardized to provide optimized results.

For skin and combined with rosemary extract, and we recently published a new study.

It was a very big project, 145 subjects that went through our program here in Europe, looking at the benefits of balancing the effects of UV.

In the skin, and we see that people who took the supplement over time compared to those who took the placebo really cope with, environmental damage in a better way.

So, we see reduced inflammation, and this is also translated to the skin looking calmer and less red.

What we see is reduced erythema intensity, and this is correlated to the increase in the levels of carotenoids.

So, we, measured the levels of the different carotenoids in the tomato.

The tomato is not only about one carotenoid, it's a mix that works synergistically together and we see this causative relationship between an increase in corotenoid levels and the benefits that we identify in the clinical biomarkers.

One more important thing that we did lately in our program is that we looked at before and after pictures of volunteers taking the supplement and it's initial steps, but the results are amazing.

Can you give us a bit of an insight maybe on your, your next campaigns or your next projects, next steps?

Yeah, so, as a brand, we are looking to continue our journey in rethinking beautiful, and As you can see, we are, rethinking beautiful in every, step of the way, and we are very dedicated to also, keep supporting our, products with significant science and, testimonials and experiences of people who are taking the product, and experiencing.

A change in their skin.

We now have, another study in the process of completion looking at beauty benefits, and I hope to be talking to you, next year about the results of that study and more to come then.
