Second, Third Products from Parmalat Australia Launched Featuring life'sDHA

07/11/07 Martek Biosciences, a DHA omega-3 market leader has announced that Parmalat Australia Ltd. has launched two new product lines featuring life'sDHA, Martek's patented and vegetarian form of DHA omega-3. In March 2007, Parmalat Australia launched its first product featuring life'sDHA, Vaalia My First Yoghurt for infant brain and eye health. Now Vaalia Low Fat Yoghurt and Vaalia Yoghurt for Toddlers join the life'sDHA offerings from Parmalat Australia.

Vaalia Low Fat Yoghurt is available in two flavors and features life'sDHA for adult brain, eye and heart health. Vaalia Yoghurt for Toddlers is available in two flavors and features life'sDHA for toddler brain, eye, and nervous system development. Both products are now available in major supermarket chains throughout Australia.

Parmalat Australia is a wholly owned subsidiary of Parmalat SpA, an Italian-based global dairy company with major operations in Europe, Latin America, North America and Australia. Its worldwide operations include almost 140 production centers and more than 36,000 employees.

In Australia, Martek is represented by distributor VILCO PTY LTD, Australia, to maximize the availability of life'sDHA in food and beverages.
