Perelel’s Triple-Support protein shows promise for women’s health in clinical trial
Key takeaways
- Perelel has announced findings from a clinical trial showing that its Triple-Support Protein supplementation had multiple health benefits for women aged 30–60.
- The patent-pending formula combines ingredients to support metabolic, cognitive, muscle, and digestive health.
- The company says the study strengthens formula-level clinical evidence for women’s health nutrition as demand for science-backed, life-stage-specific supplements increases.

Women’s health care brand Perelel has announced clinical findings supporting its Triple-Support Protein, a patent-pending three-in-one formula combining low-FODMAP prebiotic fiber, plant-based protein, and creatine monohydrate.
The study investigated the formula’s impact on 39 women aged 30–60. The four-week trial found that daily supplementation with Triple-Support Protein improved cholesterol levels, increased feelings of fullness, and spatial memory performance. Perelel says this supports the supplement’s role in memory performance, glucose regulation, feelings of fullness, and improved LDL cholesterol levels.
“We’ve always believed women deserve nutrition that is built around the science of their bodies — not a one-size-fits-all approach,” says Victoria Thain Gioia, co-founder of Perelel.
“This study takes that philosophy a step further by testing the complete formula in the women it was designed to serve. We’re building a body of clinical evidence that can help raise the standard for what science-backed women’s health nutrition looks like.”
New insights into women’s health
Perelel says its randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study shows a commitment to fund product-specific clinical trials that provide new data and insights to further advance science-backed solutions in women’s health, which is an underrepresented field of research.

The company notes that the three ingredients have previously been studied individually, and that the latest study generated clinical evidence on the complete formula.
Plant-based protein supports muscle health and increases the feeling of fullness, highlights Perelel. Creatine monohydrate supports muscle strength and power, and research is increasingly pointing to cognitive health benefits. Lastly, the low-FODAP prebiotic fiber supports metabolic and digestive health.
“The study adds formula-level clinical evidence to the existing research on these individual ingredients, providing insight into how the combination performs over time in women,” says the company.
Increased demand
Perelel explains that using up-to-the-minute clinical research, it brings science-backed formulations designed for real patient needs, with a high standard for quality and testing.
The latest research adds to Perelel’s prior clinical trials conducted in 2025 and 2026 for other products in its portfolio, including Conception Support Pack, Synbiotic Greens Powder, and Perimenopause Support Pack.
In November last year, Perelel obtained a US$27 million investment to boost its clinically proven products designed to support women throughout their entire hormonal lifecycle. The investment round included Prelude Growth Partners alongside existing investors Unilever Ventures, Willow Growth Partners, and Selva Ventures.
Increased consumer interest has driven a 12% increase in women’s health and sports nutrition supplements between 2020 and 2024, according to data from Innova Market Insights. It found that 36% of global female consumers reported taking vitamins or minerals related to their hormonal cycle. Brain and mood health claims lead among the top product launches, and there was a growing emphasis on supplements targeting blood pressure.
