O Positiv Health addresses women’s wellness with daily probiotic for gut, skin, and oral care
O Positiv Health has introduced URO Whole Body Probiotic, designed specifically for women. The daily broad-spectrum probiotic is formulated to support gut, skin, and oral microbiome health based on ten clinically studied probiotic strains.
The probiotic contains “digestive botanicals” dandelion, traditionally used as a diuretic herb for bloating relief, and licorice root, routinely used as a digestive aid.
O Positiv Health created URO Whole Body Probiotic to address the “multiple facets of women’s microbiome health beyond a targeted vaginal probiotic.”
Because the female GI system is more complex and nuanced than the male due to hormones and colon size, women are more susceptible to digestive issues, including bloating and constipation, the brand highlights.
“At O Positiv, we’re committed to bringing science-backed solutions to women’s health problems,” says O Positiv co-founder Brianna Bitton.
“That’s why I’m so proud of the work the team has done to bring URO Whole Body Probiotic to life — so many probiotics available today aren’t made just for women, let alone formulated with targeted strains to deliver benefits beyond the gut. We’re so excited to launch this product to our community — and I personally can’t wait to add it to my routine.”
Next to the launch, O Positiv Health has an extensive product range addressing issues related to hormonal, vaginal, digestive, urinary, menstrual, and menopausal health.
In other microbiome launches this week, Biohm Technologies introduced its “Longevity Gut Report” functionality, an add-on to its microbiome test kit solution. The upgrade leverages AI and bioinformatics to provide deeper insights into how an individual’s gut microbiome may influence the aging process.
Further advancing microbiome monitoring options, Nimble Science upgraded healthcare services with its SIMBA Capsule, which collects and preserves precise samples directly from the small intestine when swallowed to advance personalized microbiome research.
