Biohm Technologies upgrades microbiome gut test kit with AI-powered longevity analysis
Biohm Technologies, specializing in microbiome research, ingredients, and product solutions, has launched its Longevity Gut Report functionality, an addition to the company’s microbiome test kit solution. The upgrade leverages AI and bioinformatics to provide deeper insights into how an individual’s gut microbiome may influence the aging process.
Biohm Technologies’ bioinformatics team set out to identify the key bacterial and fungal taxa that contribute to longevity by leveraging its proprietary dataset.
Through a combination of machine learning and deep learning techniques, trained on more than 10 million data points, the result is a model that identifies approximately 100 key taxa involved in aging.
This enables the Longevity Gut Report to provide personalized insights that are scientifically backed and tailored to the individual.

Looking beyond bacteria
Biohm Technologies, based in Cleveland, Ohio, US, specializes in the development of targeted microbiome products leveraging the company’s extensive dataset of bacterial and fungal populations in the gut, a departure from the industry’s predominant focus on bacteria alone.
The company’s data-driven methodology, called Symbiont, is the basis for the creation of its clinically validated ingredients. Its flagship ingredient is Mycohsa, the “first data-powered probiotic blend” clinically shown to break down digestive biofilms and support optimal levels of both bacteria and yeasts for gut health.
Biohm Technologies also offers its comprehensive microbiome gut testing kits as a private label solution for brands in the health and wellness space.
