GNT has unveiled a new range of plant-based concentrates that can add taste, nutrition, and color to pet food. The Exberry Pet Food Range is fully compliant with EU regulations for pet food, with its natural concentrates designed for products such as kibbles, snacks, and treats.
The company notes that the new range enables manufacturers to develop nutritious and enjoyable treats with a “full rainbow of intense shades.” It includes a selection of non-GMO fruit, vegetable, and plant concentrates for cat and dog food.
Christina Niehoff, product manager at GNT Group, says the company is “delighted” to be able to supply its Exberry products to pet food manufacturers.

“Consumer focus on pet health and wellness is increasing at a rapid pace, with owners looking for high-quality products made with natural ingredients. Our color-intense, plant-based ingredients make it possible for manufacturers to create more natural products while still achieving visual differentiation.”
Natural pet nutrition
GNT notes that demand for premium pet food is growing fast, with owners seeking product claims such as “natural” or “no artificial colors.”
A 2026 Pet Owners Survey by Innova Market Insights indicates that 35% of global consumers say natural and clean labels are among the top pet food claims influencing product choice.
Moreover, data from the market researcher indicates a 26% annual global growth in overall pet food launches from 2021 to 2025.
GNT notes that the new range can support product formulations aligned with these naturality trends. The Exberry Pet Food Range concentrates are created from raw materials such as apples, carrots, radishes, turmeric, and spirulina through gentle processing methods and without using chemical solvents.
“The Exberry Pet Food range offers a truly natural solution for cat and dog food,” says Niehoff. “GNT has vast formulation experience working with equivalent applications in food and drink, and we are delighted to now be able to provide our expertise to pet food manufacturers as well.”
