Colostrum for the skin: Regenacol skincare range boasts rejuvenation benefits
31 May 2021 --- A new, colostrum-based skincare line by Sovereign Laboratories is touted as rejuvenating skin and offering an “innovative approach” to anti-aging.
The Regenacol Skincare System range features a moisturizing cream, serum and face mask and utilizes Colostrum-LD for its plentiful skin-benefiting factors and a Liposomal Delivery system for rejuvenation.

The company is already offering colostrum-based nutritional supplements and Treadaways says the line of topical skincare products complements its signature supplement, Colostrum-LD.

A three-fold approach
The Regenacol Skincare System includes three signature products. Regenacol Telomere AGE Defiance Serum with Colostrum-LD is a lightweight serum developed with plant-derived bioactives and Colostrum-LD growth factors.
The company offers colostrum-based nutritional supplements as well as topical skincare products based on Colostrum-LD.It leaves the skin visibly firmer, smoother, more even-toned and younger-looking for an overall radiant appearance, the company says. The product can help consumers achieve long-lasting intensive moisturizing and cellular hydration in any environment or climate.
Regenacol Bee Venom Moisturizing Cream with Colostrum-LD contains New Zealand pure bee venom and can energize and refine skin texture.
The most active ingredient in bee venom is melittin, which is responsible for the slight tingle that users feel with topical use of Regenacol. When the melittin-rich bee venom is applied to the skin topically, it directs blood flow to the area and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin.
Regenacol Colostrum-LD Concentrated Revitalizing Face Mask is a concentrated facial sheet mask containing Colostrum-LD and works to encourage the skin’s natural recovery from environmental stressors.
The rich blend of coenzyme Q-10, beta-glucan, gold kiwi extract and Oligo Fucoidan Fucoskin with Colostrum-LD create a rejuvenating mask and facial massage, the company supports.
Afterward, skin is visibly smoother, hydrated, more radiant and projects a healthy glow.

Colostrum’s other benefits
Bovine colostrum is the first form of lactation seen in cows in the first few days after giving birth. The ingredient is used in nutritional products and is touted as offering gut benefits.
In a nutritional application, the milk secretion with more than 100 bioactive components has demonstrated potential for use in sports recovery, anti-aging and pain management applications.
Bovine colostrum may also be an effective treatment for common intestinal health issues, according to a study backed by PanTheryx. The US-based biotechnology company’s ColostrumOne bovine colostrum ingredient is available in extruded soft-chews or soft press and baked nutrition bars.
