Bulletproof has launched Coffee + Creatine, a “first of its kind” functional coffee innovation featuring creatine. It is an instant black coffee with toxin-tested 100% Arabica beans. Each cup offers 5 g of creatine monohydrate and 250 mg of electrolytes to support performance and hydration.
The company says consumers are increasingly seeking more from beverages, such as mental focus, science-backed claims, and functional benefits. Bulletproof’s Coffee + Creatine combines researched ingredients for human nutrition into consumers’ existing daily rituals.
Bulletproof says the global functional coffee market is currently valued at US$4.5 billion and is estimated to reach US$7.8 billion in 2030.
Creatine’s comeback
The instant coffee product can be mixed into hot and cold water and with sweeteners or creamers for flavor. The company says that the product makes creatine more approachable and easy to incorporate into everyday life.

Experts from Sirio recently told Nutrition Insight that creatine is making a comeback, driven by a shift in consumer behavior. The supplement has gained attention not only from athletes but also from the broader lifestyle supplementation community, enhancing energy, focus, and performance.
“Creatine is one of the most researched ingredients in human nutrition, yet its broader benefits are still widely misunderstood,” says Harry Lewis, CEO of Bulletproof.
“With Coffee + Creatine, we saw an opportunity to bring credible science into a daily ritual people already love — creating something that supports both mental clarity and physical strength, without asking consumers to change their routine. This is about meeting people where they are and giving them more from the coffee they already drink.”
The company explains that creatine has traditionally been associated with gym culture and muscle building, but emerging research shows that its use extends beyond weightlifting.
“Studies increasingly point to creatine playing a broader role in supporting muscle performance, cellular energy, and brain health related to mental alertness, attention, and mood,” says Bulletproof.
Creatine is also tapping into conversations about longevity, cognitive performance, and sustained energy.
