Bioiberica to reveal new scientific findings about hyaluronic acid matrix ingredients
26 Sep 2023 --- Global life science company Bioiberica will unveil new scientific findings for its hyaluronic acid matrix ingredients Mobilee and Dermial at SupplySide West 2023, Las Vegas, US, 23 to 27 October. The studies can open innovation avenues for these muscle and skin health applications.
“The US market is a key priority for Bioiberica. We’re looking forward to sharing the latest scientific evidence supporting the effectiveness of Mobilee and Dermial by inspiring new opportunities for product development in the mobility and skin health space,” Joan Bassa, human health business unit director at Bioiberica.
The company will also showcase other ingredients in its mobility portfolio, such as Collavant n2, an undenatured type II collagen, Tendaxion for tendon health and CSbioactive, chondroitin sulfate and DAOgest, a premium diamine oxidase enzyme ingredient for digestive health.
Earlier this month, the company set out to present its latest research into mobility, digestive and skin health branded ingredients ahead of CPHI 2023 to be held in Barcelona, Spain, in October.
New nutritional formulations
The company will highlight the findings of the second phase of an ongoing study into Mobilee. The results of the first phase, which demonstrated the effects of hyaluronic acid, polysaccharides and collagen on muscle health, were revealed earlier this year.
The findings show that these naturally occurring components may play a role in healing sarcopenia. Both studies add to a growing body of evidence supporting Mobilee’s potential in muscle health.
Bioiberica will reveal the findings of recent studies into its muscle health ingredients.
The skin health insights documented in a peer-reviewed paper published in the International Journal of Molecular Sciences show that Dermial has regenerative and antioxidant properties for skin cells. The findings present new opportunities for skin health innovation.
Bioiberica states this is the first time the ingredient’s role against oxidative stress has been exhibited.
Made with essential components of human skin, research shows Dermial has regenerative, antioxidant and moisturizing properties that treat and prevent skin aging. Bioberica’s hyaluronic acid ingredient was found to have potential in developing products for the growing nutricosmetics space in supplements, functional food and cosmetics.
One-on-one consultation
The Bioiberica team will be on hand to discuss the findings of the latest studies and present formulators, which will provide perspectives to develop new nutritional solutions for the mobility market.
At Supplyside West 2022, Bioiberica spotlighted its hyaluronic acid matrix ingredients for skin beauty and mobility health, considered an “industry’s first” at the time.
