Vitafoods Europe 2025 live: ACG’s custom-formulated capsule tech aids personalized nutrition
At Vitafoods Europe 2025, Nutrition Insight caught up with Rohit Myri, ACG’s sales manager for the UK and Scandinavia, to discuss the company’s new personalized capsule technology.
At the show, ACG introduced its world-first Personalized Capsule Machine (PCM) — a patented technology that creates custom-formulated supplement capsules tailored to individual needs on demand.
The PCM embodies real-time health data, precision dosing, and automated capsule production to create individualized supplements.
ACG has an exclusive partnership with personalized supplement specialist, Art of You. The partnership bridges ACG’s capsule and beadlet technologies with Art of You’s formulation expertise.
Using the new PCM, the companies deliver bespoke supplement solutions tailored to individual biomarkers, health goals, and lifestyle choices.
“We have the world’s second-largest manufacturers of capsules,” Myri tells us. “We started with a new unit for capsule manufacturing for vegetarian capsules in India, and we have several others in other parts of the world. We have also developed our own HPMC.”
ACG exhibiting at Vitafoods Europe 2025.“We have developed around 250 personalized capsules, allowing you to experiment with a combination of different kinds of ingredients put into the capsule.”
Next-generation encapsulation
The capsules made using the PCM ensure advanced bioavailability and absorption through a controlled-release coating. Made from vegan, tasteless, and microplastic-free materials, it is manufactured to pharmaceutical-grade standards using sustainable practices.
The capsules are customizable per client, with a minimum order of 200,000 to 300,000 units.
“After five years in development, we are thrilled to launch the PCM and collaborate with Art of You on this groundbreaking initiative. It represents a true leap forward in personalized nutrition,” says Aaron Quinn, senior manager for Europe at Vantage Nutrition.
“This partnership underscores our commitment to growth through innovation and focus on advancing health solutions globally. With over 1,500 PCM machines planned for deployment across Europe in the next five years and projected revenue of more than €500 million 9US$565.4 million) over the next three, this initiative highlights ACG’s leadership in delivering cutting-edge capsule and beadlet technologies to the market.”
Also at Vitafoods Europe 2025, Vantage Nutrition — part of the ACG group — showcased advanced ingredient delivery technologies, including controlled-release beadlets, liquid-filled hard capsules, and cap-in-cap dosing solutions. Together, the companies offer a comprehensive portfolio designed to help brands bring better delivery systems to market efficiently.
