At Vitafoods Europe 2026, Wecare Probiotics highlighted its latest clinical trial and application developments for its star probiotic, Bacillus coagulans BC99. Dr. Litai Liu, sales manager at the company, discussed new applications for BC99, pointing to its stability in coffee, gummies, and protein powders. The ingredient is supported by over 20 clinical trials that cover gut health, sports nutrition, metabolism, and anxiety relief through the gut-brain axis. She also teased Wecare Probiotics’ plans to develop mainstream food applications for BC99, such as yogurts and ice cream.
