Vitamin enriched chocolate for healthy indulgence

Zoot has long been working on chocolate offerings with reduced or no sugar content, but three years ago, the company's founders started to think that it would be nice to not only take something out of the chocolate but to enrich them with vitamins and minerals. John Dixey of Zoot tells NutritionInsight: “We have taken our bestselling chocolate, and put it in daily packs, which are easy to break off. We have a beauty chocolate, based on vitamin E, we do a sunshine chocolate, focusing on vitamin D, and we do an anti-stress chocolate, as well as a heart benefit product.” The range fits in well with an emerging trend towards healthy indulgence products.
