Dr. Winston Sun, product manager for Europe at Angel Yeast, introduced the company’s focus products at Vitafoods Europe 2025 — yeast protein Angeopro, yeast beta-glucan for immunity, and vitamin K2 for heart and bone health. He presented findings of a new clinical trial supporting Angeopro’s muscle health and recovery benefits for elderly and overweight consumers. Sun has seen various new alternative proteins enter the market, but added that industrialization and functionality are key for the future of these ingredients.
