00:07This is Robert Wires at Vital Foods Asia in Hong Kong, and I'm here with Sinndra Tiedeman Johansson from Noble Harvest in Norway, and Noble Harvest launched a salmon oil product last year.

00:18Cindra, can you tell me a bit about the benefits of salmon oil and what, what's the potential for this type of thing on the, on the market?

00:26The salmon oil is, as you probably know, the Norwegian salmon oil is quite famous.

00:33We have , we, we, our salmon oil is made in the northern part of Norway called Norlux.

00:41They produce about 10 to 15 tons of salmon oil every day, and, It's, it takes about one hour from a live fish and the factory to we can have oil out, and then we don't have to do anything with it.

00:54It's, it's extra virgin salmon oil and all the benefits from a natural oil, the, the all the fatty acid profile, for the different fat acids, the vitamins and the trace minerals inside , extra virgin salmon oil.

01:12Is, we believed to be, very good bioavailability for your, for your whole body.

01:20Also, the, it, your body recognizes it as food, it looks, it tastes and feels like almost like a salmon filet, but without the proteins, and, and it, it's, it's fresh, it's natural.

01:37What type of applications is it suitable for?

01:38I presumably you're mainly targeting the supplement space, but does it have other potential as?

01:42It has absolutely other potentials.

01:44We, we are looking more and more into, into the food business, like, like cooking oil, like, , different applications for, for the salmon oil.

01:55We also, are doing some developing with the microencapsulation of the salmon, salmon oil.

02:02We're not, we don't have it ready yet, but, there is a lot of different applications with it, actually.

02:10You've developed some quite interesting, supplement concepts here.

02:13Can you, can you explain a little bit about them?

02:14You have like a cola flavored.

02:16We have, we have been a little crazy, introduced the last, last year's, no, this year's spider Foods Europe in May we launched three different, types of, Ingredients or flavors, one with the, with citrus, with the salmon oil, and we also have a Coca-Cola flavor.

02:40We thought that what is the flavor that the rest of the world has.

02:46I know knows about and had tried it.

02:49That was Coca-Cola came up to our mind and then we said, let's try to make a flavor of cola, with fish oil, and , I think it's quite good, the children loves it and it's a, you drink it as liquid, you can have a shot like, like the one you, you just videoed.

03:11With the 10 mL shots, you have your daily dosage.

03:15It's, you have a little bit sweetener in it, so the, the taste profile is, it's very good, and , it's another way of taking your daily omega 3 than than capsules.
