“One diet for everybody is not working anymore, everybody is talking about personalization,” says Michael Gusko of GoodMills Innovation, at the NewtritionX conference in Cologne, Germany. Gusko highlights the role that ingredients companies can play in the personalized nutrition space, by providing ingredients that can impact gut health and the human metabolism. Personalized nutrition is also pushing the sales of their ingredients, and the company plans to continue its R&D exploration of different grains.
