At Food Ingredients Europe (FiE) 2024, Sensus, a division of Royal Cosun, presented chicory root fiber prebiotic. Eszter Heijnen-Nagy, the company’s commercial manager, highlighted how the source of natural and soluble dietary fiber supports food manufacturers seeking clean label ingredients to boost healthfulness. Marcel van der Vaart, business development manager of Plant Proteins at Cosun Protein, dived into the company’s first commercial plant-based protein product, Tendra, which is touted to enhance the taste and functional properties of F&B products.
