Dairy nutrition for mother and baby highlighted at Fi Europe

Arla Food Ingredients showcased its Smart Mama Nutrition line featuring the ingredient Lacprodan MFGM-10 at Fi Europe 2019 in Paris, France. The ingredient supplies phospholipids and gangliosides with the end goal of developing the brain or cognition of the child. The Denmark-based dairy ingredient supplier also featured an infant formula created to ease digestion through the addition of alpha-lactalbumin and milk protein hydrolosates. Products formulated with these special ingredients for children’s cognitive health target those “who want to see the maximum possibilities for their child to thrive in a competitive world,” says Anders Steen Jørgensen, Strategic Business Unit Director of Pediatrics.
