GLP-1 has driven interest in metabolic health, said Phynova’s VP EMEA, Alexis Manfré. He presented a technology that measures the body’s “metabolic memory” via advanced glycation end-products, while showcasing that Reducose can help manage blood sugar and insulin spikes after meals. Manfré sees consumers becoming more specific about choosing products that help them manage blood glucose levels, through which they can also manage their metabolic health. He also discussed how one clinical study shows that a serving of Reducose had an immediate effect on natural GLP-1 secretion by a “triple-digit percent.”
