Biofach 2025: Prolactal features organic functional protein isolates for infant, sports, and senior nutrition

At the recent Biofach trade show, Prolactal highlighted its organic portfolio of nutritional solutions derived from cow and goat milk. Elodie Robin, sales manager of B2B Nutrition Europe at the company, introduced its product portfolio, which includes a wide range of applications across all life stages, such as infant nutrition, active and sports nutrition, and products for seniors. She highlighted the taste and functional benefits of Prolactal’s new-generation milk protein concentrates and isolates, including lactose-free options.

I'm here at BA 2025 with Eluie Robin, who is sales manager at Platal.
Thank you for joining us today, and I was wondering, can you tell us a little bit about Platal and what kind of innovations you're showcasing here at BA this year?
Is a major.
Milk ingredients producers in powder farm we extract the best from the milk, so producing mainly functional proteins concentrates in we are showing our innovations and developments as ingredients which are specific ingredients from the National Organic Program with the US for organic milk proteins and also other other milk ingredients from this.
And presenting also organic goat protein concentrates.

And I understand, of course you have lots of nutritional solutions.
Can you share more details about the premium solutions you offer and how they cater to different life stages so we can cover all.
Life stages from really early nutrition for our babies, especially with our organic D90 powder, but also developing mainstream protein concentrates for food industry, also bakery, sport nutrition and the elderly stages of the lifestyle.
OK, interesting.
And what can you tell us about the research that has been done on the health benefits of some of your products and what the findings were of those?
So we are getting our Our developments and R&D works, we have developed some protein concentrates we would say, having either premium taste.
So being quite tasteful for consumers and also having functional benefits for the industry with specific features for For the industry processes of our customers.
OK, and I'm also interested if you can talk a bit about how the products that Poolexel offers align with current trends in the food and beverage industry.
So R&D is curious to develop and go one step beyond with our products.
We have developed goat milk protein concentrate, which is quite innovative, can be used in various applications, and regarding this product, we have recognition from.
2024 innovation awards as finalists for this ingredient and again in 2025 at Gulf Food for innovation products.
OK, interesting.
And I'm also curious because we're here at BOA.
I was wondering if you can talk about the sustainable practices that you implement to produce the organic ingredients.
So prolactal is a net zero plant since 1983, so it was quite at an early stage with this sustainability approach, specialized also in organic, so there is all these parts with the farms and The way the milk is produced, the -being of the animals, and also having a program on developing the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions that we are implementing with the farms.
