Well Traveled aims to get the world traveling again with immune and digestion supporting supplement
13 Mar 2023 --- A US-based supplement company is utilizing science-backed ingredients to help “keep travelers well on the road.” The company’s newly launched Immune Activator supplement includes ingredients evidenced in over 30 clinical studies and 15 human trials confirming their efficacy.
Patrick Firlik, CEO of Well Traveled, states that the supplement is intended to address the “pain points” associated with traveling and tourism that he experienced during his seven years crisscrossing the globe as a management consultant.
“When I was away from home, my routines were disrupted, I was exposed to lots of germs, and sometimes stressed,” says Firlik. “As a result, I often found myself sick, dehydrated, tired, struggling to focus, and not eating or sleeping well.”
“I was far from my best and I was tired of using sugary, artificial products that were mildly effective. That’s when I realized there had to be a better way to stay well on the road.”
The company says the new supplement will help defend against several travel-related illnesses and ailments.Branded immunity
According to Firlik, the new supplement contains five active ingredients, two of which are branded immunity-boosting ingredients. BeniCaros is a prebiotic made from carrot fiber branded and Immuse is a postbiotic. Additionally, it contains plant-based forms of zinc and vitamins C and D.
The company highlights that BeniCaros “trains” the cells of the immune system to be more responsive when activated and increases the amount of beneficial and immunity-bolstering organisms in the gut microbiome.
At the same time, Immuse helps to activate the main cells that operate in the immune system, such as Helper T-cells, Killer T-cells, natural killer cells and Helper B-cells.
Clinical trials have shown a 67% reduction in flu incidence rates, 43% faster recovery from cold virus infections and a 33% reduction in symptom severity from cold and flu.
“BeniCaros and Immuse are supported by science,” explains Firlik. “These two ingredients work in the gut to create powerful immune activation.”
Safe travels
The company states that the effects of travel – especially plane travel – can be more than just the risk of exposure to germs and viruses. It can also cause such adverse effects as fatigue (jet lag), reduced blood flow from lack of movement, digestive issues and dehydration.
Moreover, Well Traveled states that its new supplement can provide convenient, daily support that defends against all of these effects.
According to the company, what makes the supplement unique is “the combination of prebiotic and postbiotic, which creates gut-mediated immune activation, a novel mechanism for immune support. The result is a powerful, triple action effect that strengthens the body’s natural defenses, activates faster immune response and accelerates recovery.”
