14 Mar 2023 --- As the Black Sea Grain Initiative is set to expire this Saturday, Russia has reportedly offered a second extension to the deal to allow the flow of food commodities through Turkey toward global ports. This will bolster food security and solidify the eleven month streak of declining food prices, which are now 18.7% lower than in March 2022, according to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
