New Chapter launches its first regenerative organic certified holy basil supplement
24 Sep 2024 --- New Chapter aims to limit environmental impact while providing herbal stress relief, cognitive function and immune support with its first Regenerative Organic Certified (ROC) supplement, Organic Holy Basil Booster Powder. The company notes that the product reflects its dedication to advancing regenerative practices and setting a standard in the vitamin and supplement industry.
The ROC standard incorporates holistic practices that prioritize soil health, animal welfare and social fairness, in addition to organic certification.

Holy Basil Booster
The new product is a powdered version of the whole herb holy basil, also known as Tulsi. The Holy Basil Booster contains 1,200 mg of small-batch harvested ROC holy basil that can be sprinkled into smoothies, hot tea or other products to help consumers “stay sharp and centered.”
New Chapter notes that the product’s key feature lies in the healthy soil from which it is sourced. The botanical is produced at an organic farm in India.
“Holy basil is a remarkable herb that offers a variety of benefits, including stress relief, cognitive function and immune support. People can feel good about reaching for this superfood botanical supplement, which helps replenish the soil as it grows on the farm from which we source it. Regenerative agriculture
ROC involves a rigorous product certification process, which New Chapter says aligns with the brand’s sustainability values and helps fulfill a crucial objective of its Climate Action Plan — advancing the regenerative agriculture movement by 2025.
The company has supported research and advocacy in regenerative agriculture, incorporating regeneratively supercritical extracts into its products, such as Turmeric Force and Ginger Force.
New Chapter says these practices are “crucial in reversing environmental damage.” In addition to its first ROC supplement, it plans to fund more research and education through partnerships with non-profit organizations and embed these practices more deeply into its supply chain.
