Sirio Pharma lifts up global nutrition security with Vitamin Angels

Sirio Pharma has partnered with Vitamin Angels to improve nutrition and health outcomes for pregnant women, infants, and children. The Chinese nutraceutical contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) has pledged an annual donation to expand nutrition access to these demographics in underserved communities worldwide. 

The global public health nonprofit organization says it implements evidence-based nutrition interventions specifically targeting these most nutritionally vulnerable groups.

Sirio commits to maternal and child health

Sirio’s rolling donations will support Vitamin Angels’ operations in over 65 countries and works with local organizations to deliver nutrition programs.

“At Sirio Pharma, our commitment to health extends beyond the products we manufacture — it’s about making a meaningful impact,” says Mark Dewis, general manager of the Sirio Americas Business Unit. 

“Partnering with Vitamin Angels allows us to extend that impact to vulnerable populations worldwide, helping ensure that mothers and children have access to the vital nutrition they need to thrive, both globally and in our own communities.”

Cross-sectoral collaborations 

Vitamin Angels recently highlighted the distinction between hunger and hidden hunger — a form of malnutrition in which people have enough calories to survive but not enough essential vitamins and nutrients.
