Maeva unveils metabolic wellness brand for personalized GLP-1 support

Maeva has launched a “first of its kind” clinically informed low-calorie nutrition product line designed for individuals using GLP-1 medications. The customizable range includes products featuring probiotics, enzymes, and superfoods, selected to address the specific nutritional problems that tend to arise during rapid weight-loss routines.

The products also support consumers navigating weight management without medications, who follow lifestyle-based or dietary interventions.

“Maeva was born out of personal experience. After taking GLP-1s, I saw firsthand how easy it was to lose weight while also losing muscle, energy, and overall balance. The medication worked, but the nutrition support didn’t exist, so we set out to build what was missing,” says co-founder Steven Neiger.

The US brand launches with a subscription-first model, including a curated Starter Kit, positioned toward long-term habits for sustainable results. It taps into the rapidly accelerating market for food and nutritional products designed as complementary products for GLP-1 therapies.

GLP-1 medications have helped many people make meaningful progress in their weight-loss and health journeys, but maintaining proper nutrition is often overlooked.”

Gender-specific nutritional products

Maeva is created specifically for consumers whose appetite and calorie intake fluctuate during weight-loss therapies by supplying them with a high-protein base, an adequate amount of calories, and essential micronutrients.

The brand’s core range includes gender-specific nutrition shakes, personalized functional boosters, and single-serve electrolytes designed for convenience. These were created to complement GLP-1 lifestyles in ways that traditional meal replacements, protein powders, and supplements are not specifically designed to address, says the company.

Nutrition Shakes for Men include creatine to support lean muscle and energy, while KSM-66 ashwagandha supports healthy testosterone levels. Each serving includes 230 calories and 25 g of plant protein.

Nutrition Shakes for Women feature collagen peptides, hyaluronic acid, iron, and B-complex vitamins to support hair, skin, and muscle during rapid weight loss. Its servings include 200 calories and 20 g of plant protein.

“While so many brands are scrambling to create something with protein that they hope people will buy, Maeva has crafted an incredibly intentional product that does more than feed people utilizing GLP-1s, it’s truly supporting what they need to thrive,” says Jacques Spitzer, CCO and CEO of Maeva’s marketing agency, Raindrop.

Targeted boosters with hero ingredients

While the shakes provide the macronutrient foundation, Maeva’s targeted Boosters act as an “add-on” system that allows users to customize their routine based on three specific needs. These complementary powders are designed to be mixed directly into the shakes, allowing users to pivot their nutritional focus without changing their entire meal plan.

Boosters include Beauty, which is formulated with Replenwell bovine collagen peptides, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, and biotin. It also contains Ohtaka Superfood Beauty powder, a whole-food ingredient from Anderson Advanced Ingredients that is rich in ceramides and fermented from more than 50 fruits, vegetables, legumes, and whole grains.

Energy is a booster containing energizing taurine, tyrosine, carnitine, and B vitamins. It also features S7 powder, a branded, plant-based sports nutrition ingredient developed by FutureCeuticals, designed to naturally increase nitric oxide production by up to 230%. S7 powder consists of seven ingredients: green coffee bean, green tea, turmeric, tart cherry, blueberry, broccoli, and kale.

Gut Health is the third booster, aiming to support digestive wellness with probiotics, Irish sea moss, and enzymes (protease, lipase, and amylase). Additionally, it contains organic inulin, konjac glucomannan, reishi mushroom powder, lion’s mane mushroom powder, and chaga mushroom powder.

Meava’s add-on electrolyte sachets each contain five calories and zero sugar. The Probiotic Electrolyte Mix is a hydration stick designed to support electrolyte balance, cellular hydration, and gut wellness.
