Brenntag Specialties Food & Nutrition has expanded its agreement to distribute ADM’s soy-based ingredients across Central/Eastern Europe (CEE), Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), through a newly announced deal that has been in force since September 1, 2025.
With the addition of Romania, the move transitions the partners’ existing non-exclusive deal in Hungary into exclusive distribution partnerships across Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
Brenntag offers the ADM products under the Profam, Arcon, Tradcon SE, and Tradcon T to customers in these Eastern European countries.
In addition to the above, Brenntag will offer ADM’s Adlec, Ultralec, Sopro, and Soprotex brands on an exclusive basis in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
“The expansion of our partnership with ADM highlights our commitment to providing valuable ingredients for meat alternatives and for other innovative food and nutrition products to our customers,” says Frank Haven, regional president of Brenntag Specialties Nutrition EMEA.
“With the partnership with ADM, we guarantee our customers first-class products and first-class service and delivery across a wide regional range of countries in CEE and the Middle East.”

Matthias Vogelsang, vice president of EMEA proteins at ADM, adds: “Our partnership with Brenntag allows us to leverage their deep market knowledge and application expertise to grow our business in CEE and select countries in the Middle East through the use of our global manufacturing network, which includes our European assets, further strengthening our footprint in the region.”
In previous deals, Brenntag expanded its distribution agreement with Lallemand Bio-Ingredients to market its Food Enzymes portfolio in North America last September. The agreement will extend Lallemand’s baking enzyme portfolio to Brenntag’s US and Canada customers.
In May, Arla Foods Ingredients extended its distribution partnership with the Brenntag Group to include Southeast Asia’s three largest food and nutrition markets.
