Azelis’ Gillco Ingredients announces new US distribution deal with FrieslandCampina
Specialty chemicals and food ingredients supplier Azelis entered a new exclusive distribution agreement between its subsidiary Gillco Ingredients and FrieslandCampina Ingredients in the US.
The deal widens the distribution of FrieslandCampina’s Biotis Health Benefit Solutions for gut, brain, and immune health support.
Gillco team offers technical expertise and formulation support for creating functional foods and beverages.

Building on Canada and Europe presence
Effective immediately, the deal builds on the established partnership between FrieslandCampina and Azelis in Canada and in Europe.
Highlighting the companies’ green activities, FrieslandCampina Ingredients says it is committed to monitoring, control, and transparency, reducing greenhouse gas emissions throughout the entire value chain, and utilizing fully renewable energy in production locations.
Similarly, Azelis is dedicated to sustainable business practices, emphasizing responsible sourcing and environmental impact reduction.
Last October, Azelis entered a distribution agreement with Gattefossé, a leading developer and manufacturer of natural cosmetic ingredients and pharmaceutical excipients for the beauty and health industries.
Other recent notable activities include Azelis’ acquisition of Hortimex to boost its footprint in the Polish nutraceutical and food ingredients sectors.
