MielTonia from honey company les Ruchers du Gue is an energy mix of honey and natural products in a tube for sportspeople. The 100% natural products are claimed to help support physical and muscular activity. Alain Garnier of the company says: “We developed a very specific honey for sports and it is a 100% natural preparation of honey and we are including some ingredients inside like propolis, guarana, maca and some essential oils.” The product is available in three varieties: before, during and after exercise for recovery. It contains guarana for energy prior to exercise, while propolis and essential oils are used for a boost during exercise.
