US start-up Amplifye developed a science-backed enzyme capsule to help consumers double their protein absorption. The company’s chief commercial officer, Courtney McHugh, explained how the company used bioinformatics and AI to identify the optimal enzyme, P24, and develop this into a strain that consumers can take with any meal that includes protein. She also highlighted several challenges Amplifye had to overcome in getting its product on the US market, such as elaborate scientific research and educating consumers on improved protein absorption.
