Lactobacillus rhamnosus was the most used probiotic, appearing in 34% of these launches. However, the fastest-growing trend is using Lactobacillus plantarum in women’s health supplements.

Globally, 61% of these product launches were in the Supplements category, which also recorded the fastest growth, with a 19% increase over the five years. Notably, plant-based sports supplements experienced a 63% growth during the same period.
