Kate Farms has launched its High Protein Nutrition Shakes at select Walmart stores in the US and online. The beverages are clinically designed to support GLP-1 users in meeting their nutritional needs as well as everyday wellness goals, according to the company.
“We’re excited to bring our High Protein Nutrition Shakes to Walmart and make high-quality, plant-based nutrition even more accessible,” says Tom Beecher, president of Kate Farms.
The announcement follows Kate Farms’ launch of its Kids Nutrition shake at Walmart last month, expanding the company’s plant-based nutrition portfolio.
Beecher notes that more families are embracing plant-based options in their daily lives. “We’re proud to offer them trusted, clinically backed nutrition where they already shop.”
Supporting general health needs
Kate Farms High Protein Nutrition Shake is a rich source of protein designed to support muscle health during weight loss. It launched over the summer shortly after Danone acquired Kate Farms to enhance its specialized nutrition offerings in the US.
The rollout on Walmart is timely, as demand is surging for food and beverage solutions to complement GLP-1 therapies by filling in critical nutritional gaps that are common among patients losing weight rapidly.

Each carton of High Protein Nutrition Shakes delivers 160 calories, 25 g of protein, and 6 g of fiber. Marketed toward convenience, they also address the loss of appetite GLP-1 users commonly face.
“High Protein Nutrition Shake was thoughtfully developed with health goals in mind,” says Dr. Christina Valentine, MD, registered dietitian nutritionist and chief medical officer at Kate Farms.
“Making sure GLP-1 users are getting enough high-quality nutrition, including vitamins and minerals, phytonutrients, protein, and fiber, is all important. We made this product to help people get the nutrients they need to live their best lives.”
Innova Market Insights’ data suggests that one in two consumers across the globe see weight management as their main concern related to physical health. At the recent SupplySide Global 2025 trade show in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, Kerry exhibited solutions centered on GLP-1, including a new postbiotic derived from rice.
