Vitafoods Asia 2025: TSI Group on enjoyable supplement formats for snackable nutrition
TSI Group is gearing up for Vitafoods Asia, Bangkok, Thailand, with its science-based knowledge on pre-workout supplementation (September 17–19). The nutrition provider highlights its ability to provide brands with new delivery formats, the “made in Thailand” advantage, and specific certifications like halal.
The company highlights gaining recognition for its educational collaboration with MusclePro Nutrition on a campaign, influencing consumers with science-backed information on pre-workout supplementation. TSI Group is a Vitafoods Asia awards finalist in the Marketing Initiative of the Year category for this initiative.
“We don’t just make products — we solve challenges,” says Larry Kolb, co-founder of TSI Group. “From science-backed ingredients to breakthrough delivery formats and regulatory expertise, we give partners the edge to win in today’s competitive market.”
Snackable nutrition innovation
At Vitafood Asia’s New Product Zone, customers can taste the snack supplement OptiCreatine + Collagen Candies, designed for on-the-go lifestyles. TSI Group’s optimized creatine is a completely soluble premium collagen for skin, joint, and beauty-from-within benefits.
The creatine is also touted to be smooth and grit-free in texture, while its snack-style format transforms daily nutrition into a candy treat.
The technology behind TSI Group’s creatine may enable brands to create other new formats — such as candies, effervescents, fast melts, chews, and gummies — in the “booming” snackable nutrition space.
“At TSI, we are both consumer-driven and customer-focused. Our mission is to deliver science-backed innovations and breakthrough formats that empower partners to launch faster and set a higher standard for how consumers experience supplements,” comments Joe Zhou, CEO of TSI Group.
Bangkok — a major hub
TSI Group entered a new joint venture in Bangkok, which enables its manufacturing expansion across Asia, connecting to the ones from Australia to Hong Kong.
The technology behind TSI Group’s creatine may enable brands to create new formats in the “booming” snackable nutrition space. Bangkok was chosen as it is a major hub for smooth entry into Southeast Asia markets.
“Our Bangkok site builds on the same high standards we meet in Australia under TGA regulations — among the strictest in the world,” says Zhou. “We are now transferring that expertise to Southeast Asia, giving brands access to TSI’s proven model of delivering high-quality, compliant, and effective health solutions at scale.”
Delivery format tech
At TSI Group’s booth A41, customers can see the company’s personalized nutrition platform, Tailored Script, next to its delivery format innovations.
Among these highlights, the effervescent delivery system OptiClear transforms traditionally insoluble ingredients into a clear and fast-dissolving solution.
The effervescent granule technology FZZR is award-winning and enables consumers to choose how they take their supplements, like drinking, fizzing, or chewing.
The company will also spotlight its OptiCreatine breakthroughs to show how it enables new formats that go beyond powders and capsules.
Other TSI Group delivery systems in the portfolio include myHMB (muscle health), PEAK ATP (cellular energy), Hobamine (cellular defence), Glucosagreen (osteoarthritis support), and enfinity (caffeine metabolite).
Also at the show, Kemin will spotlight a range of functional ingredients designed to support human health across all life stages. It will present its portfolio of clinically studied solutions targeting cognitive function, immune support, digestive health, and more.
Meanwhile, Activ’Inside will showcase clinically validated nutricosmetic ingredient innovations in wellness and beauty supplements, such as Celluvine, a cellulite-controlling solution; Safr’Inside for Sleep, a finalist at the NutraIngredients Awards; and Belight3, the winner in the “Beauty From Within” category.
