TCBY(R) launches Yovana(TM)

21/07/05 Yovana, a new quick-service concept designed to meet consumers' increasing demand for fresh, healthy and convenient foods throughout the day, is being launched by TCBY this month. Yovana's first prototype store opened July 16th in the Phoenix metro area at 1430 N. Cooper Road in Gilbert.
Yovana's offerings center on premium yogurt, prepared fresh in-store every day. In a venue that's hip and relaxing, yogurt-lovers can choose from a range of made-to-order meals and snacks, including fresh yogurt parfaits, drinkable yogurt smoothies and frozen yogurt treats featuring seasonally fresh fruit and organic wholegrain granolas.
Yovana is a branch of TCBY Systems, a frozen treats chain that first opened in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1981. TCBY was acquired by an affiliate of Salt Lake City based Mrs. Fields Famous Brands, LLC in 2000. The Mrs. Fields Famous Brands portfolio also includes Mrs. Fields Cookies, Pretzel Time, Pretzelmaker, and The Great American Cookie Company.
