Single malt whisky could help cure cancer

09/05/05 Jim Swan, an independent consultant to the global drinks industry, has stated in a medical conference in Scotland, that single malt whisky could help in treatment of cancer.
He credited high levels of a powerful antioxidant that kills cancer cells, for the benefit.
Jim Swan said that, according to research, single malt whisky contains “more ellagic acid than red wine”.
