The nation’s health authority Secretaría Regional Ministerial (SEREMI) de Salud issued the approval, marking the ingredient’s first debut in a finished product on the market.
Developed by Nutrapharm, the finished supplement product contains 500 mg of Setria Glutathione. Kyowa Hakko, says the approval is a milestone for the ingredient, which it highlights as a clinically researched and patented antioxidant that supports cellular and mitochondrial health.

The company highlights that Setria Glutathione is a highly absorbable tripeptide manufactured using a fermentation process that can help replenish the body’s reserves that may be depleted through poor diet, pharmaceutical drugs, and the natural aging process.
The supplier also offers Setria for Sport, which is a combination of Setria Glutathione (200 mg) and L-citrulline (2 g) backed by research suggesting it may help support and sustain nitric oxide production post-workout.
