SEPPIC Launches Nutrition Division
To support its customers in the formulation of their new products, a new sales team and R&D resources are now fully dedicated to nutrition.
24 May 2012 --- Recognized for its expertise in specialty ingredients, film-coating and formulation for over 20 years, SEPPIC has created a nutrition division fully dedicated to players in the nutraceutical and functional food industries.
Positioned at the crossroad between health, prevention, and well-being, this new division benefits from the synergies of expertise acquired in pharmaceutical and cosmetic formulation, film-coating, biology and global regulations. SEPPIC’s nutrition division aims to expand its product portfolio to enable its customers to create new products, to anticipate market trends and to meet consumers' increasingly demanding needs in health and wellness.
To support its customers in the formulation of their new products, a new sales team and R&D resources are now fully dedicated to nutrition. SEPPIC’s biological applications laboratory has thus been strengthened and will direct its work toward nutrition and the objectification of active ingredients. 5 areas are targeted:
- Nutricosmetics,
- Cardiovascular health,
- Sports and vitality,
- Healthy ageing,
- Weight management.
From 22 to 24 May at the Vitafoods Europe exhibition in Geneva, SEPPIC's Nutrition division is presenting its latest innovations: CERAMOSIDES, a new range of moisturising, nutritional and anti-ageing active ingredients, REBATEN - STEVITEN, a range of natural sweeteners made with Stevia extracts and SEPICOAT, a new coating agent.
