Sep 28 2010 --- POLARIS, with 15 years expertise in nutritional lipids, based in France (Pleuven, 29) has just purchased the company OCEAN NUTRASCIENCES in Quebec.
OCEAN NUTRASCIENCES is a company specialized in the scientific valuation of marine biomasses into raw materials intended for the sector of the nutraceutics. The Quebec company develops, makes, values (clinical studies) and markets marine ingredients (shellfish, algae and fish) exempt from organic solvents. It has a strong expertise in the development of biochemical processes and state-of-the-art equipments.

These products are antioxidant and anti-inflammatory complexes containing astaxanthine, amino acids and Omega 3 (EPA and DHA) polyunsaturated fatty acids in the form of triglycerides and phospholipids.
