Now Sports’ portfolio includes more than 130 products across eight different categories, supporting diverse sports nutritional needs for professional to amateur athletes, not using any artificial ingredients, colors or flavors.
Now conducts 19,000 tests per month encompassing vital aspects of the production process, from raw ingredients to finished products. Many of these are performed in Now’s third-party, ISO (International Organization for Standardization)-accredited microbiology and analytical labs. The testing also includes its proprietary screening method for banned substances and illegal adulterants.
Most Now Sports products have a third-party Informed Sport certificate from the anti-doping LGC supplement testing labs, able to detect more than 200 banned substances.
“It is imperative that we are guiding our athletes to fuel with trusted brands who also use science and innovation with the athletes’ health and wellness at the forefront, and we feel confident in Now Sports’ ability to provide the best to the Beasts,” Mackey says.
He explains that Now Sports was recommended by the team’s nutritionist, adding that “many of our athletes have used Now for years.
Brooks Beasts’ Josh Ker, the 2023 1500-meter World Champion and a 2020 Tokyo bronze medalist, has been a Now ambassador for over four years.
The partnership entails exclusive nutrition and training videos and tips from Brooks Beast coaches, nutritionists, and athletes, including Josh Kerr, Nia Akins and Isaiah Harris.
These are already available on the Now Sports Hub and will be promoted on dedicated digital and Amazon advertising through social efforts, in-person athletic training events and more.
A recent study revealed that poor nutrition choices remain common among amateur runners, considerably impacting athletic performance and overall well-being.
