NGS unveils protein drink powder to support the growth of pre-teen and adolescent boys

23 Aug 2021 --- Nutritional Growth Solutions (NGS), a children’s nutrition company, has launched Grow Daily Boys 10+, a protein drink powder that bolsters growth and development in boys aged ten years and older.

The line contains a patented mixture of macronutrients, micronutrients and the optimal amount of calories designed to boost an adolescent’s growing body and increase muscle mass.

“Many children aren’t receiving the ideal nutrition they need, either because they cannot afford it or simply because they are picky eaters. Understanding the importance of nutrition on children’s growth and development is what drove the doctors to develop scientifically formulated, specific formulas to help children reach their potential,” Liron Fendell, CEO of NGS, tells NutritionInsight.

The new formula is beneficial for young boys who need supplemental calories and protein to support an active lifestyle and fill in nutritional gaps.

It is available in the US and was formulated with the dietary needs of boys in this age range.

Packed with nutrients
Each serving of Grow Daily Boys 10+ contains 18 g of whey protein, lipids, complex carbohydrates and micronutrients scientifically proven to be related to growth. These include zinc, calcium, iron, and vitamins A, D and C.

The line of nutritional shakes is available in chocolate, vanilla and plain (a neutral base) flavors. Grow Daily Boys 10+ “Plain” can be added to milkshakes, fruit smoothies, yogurt or other recipes.

“It is hard enough to manage kids’ diets at home, but with school beginning, many parents worry that their children will not get a proper meal at school or will skip lunch,” says Fendell.

“With Grow Daily Boys 10+, they can just add 6 oz of water or low-fat milk to two scoops of the formula to a portable shaker bottle, and put it in their son’s backpack or have it waiting for them when they come home.”

Grow Daily Kids 3+ and Grow Daily Boys 10+ are the new product names under the evolving Healthy Heights brand. The flagship product, Healthy Height, was developed and tested by pediatricians and clinically shown to help children aged three to nine years old grow taller. 

NGS launched the Healthy Height Snack Bar in the US and Canada recently. Additionally, NGS expanded this line to China with the launch of its Healthy Height protein shake.The nutritional shakes come in three flavors: chocolate, vanilla, and plain (a neutral taste).

The Grow Daily Boys 10+ line also provides nutrition to picky eaters, a universal problem that causes stress for many families.

“As we didn’t want to use a lot of sugar, we worked with our suppliers to source creamy milk ingredients, which has a natural sweetness to it, as well as some high-quality natural flavors which add sweetness and smoothness,” adds Fendell.

Nutritional shakes for children take center stage
Industry players have been voicing the potential of nutritional shakes for children. 

Else Nutrition launched a nutritious shake that taps into clean label beverages for kids in this space.

Recently, the company added two plant-based protein shakes to their portfolio of plant-based shakes.
