New ‘Statistically Significant’ Slimming Ingredient Hits Market
14 Sep 2016 --- PLT Health Solutions has introduced a new weight management ingredient, SLIMVANCE, to the market. The ingredient, a synergistic formulation of three well-known spices, is patented and boasts several health claims.
The weight management ingredient has been clinically shown to deliver statistically significant weight loss starting at 2 weeks, sustained weight loss and a slimming effect on stomach, waist and hips.
The company claim that SLIMVANCE’s patented approach works at multiple levels by inhibiting the accumulation of fat into fat cells, and enhancing the body’s ability to break down fat cells.
Due to its size, length, use of non-obese subjects and its design and execution, PLT Health Solutions claim its 2016 16-week double-blind, placebo controlled study sets new standards for communicating efficacy to consumers and regulatory agencies in the weight management category.
Conducted on a healthy population of overweight men and women, the results saw consistent body weight reductions throughout the 16-week trial, starting with statistically significant weight loss at 2 weeks, with a total weight loss of nearly 12 lbs by the end of the study.
The results also showed that overweight subjects taking SLIMVANCE lost 2 inches in waist circumference in the study.

SLIMVANCE has been studied in two human clinical trials to date. Analyses indicate that statistically significant (p<0.0001) reductions in key measures were observed beginning within 2 weeks.
