New Clinical Study Confirms Green Oat Ingredient Efficacy on Cognitive Performance

The maintenance of cognitive function even in stressful situations has become essential in our society, based on performance and changing social trends. The new, placebo-controlled, double-blind, randomized cross-over study investigated the effects of 800mg Neuravena on the cognitive performance, using the Computerized Mental Performance Assessment System (COMPASS)—a battery of tests selected to allow assessments across the major cognitive domains, including global functioning (speed, accuracy), attention, working and episodic memory and executive function.

The study shows that a single 800mg dose of Neuravena provides significant benefits related to cognitive function. The results of the study indicate a significant improvement of the ‘Speed of Performance’ measure across all the timed tasks within the cognitive tests battery, indicating general benefit to brain function. These results also indicate an improved executive function, via faster performance in the Peg & Ball test; improved working memory performance (via second run of Corsi Blocks task); and improved episodic memory through fewer incorrect words generated on the “Delayed Word Recall” task.
