Nestle launches “Nido-Growing up Milk” in Bangladesh
Fortified with Nestle's unique soluble fibre called Prebio 1, which is a specific blend of Non Digestible Oligosaccharide.
27/06/05 Nestle Bangladesh Ltd. launched a new product, "Nido-Growing up Milk", Saturday for children aged between 2 and 4 in the local market.
Addressing a press conference in the city Saturday, NIDO Brand Manager Nuzhat Yusuf said, " Through the innovation of this milk we are adding one extra item to our existing range of food and beverages."
"The key feature of this milk powder is that it is fortified with Nestle's unique soluble fibre called Prebio 1, which is a specific blend of Non Digestible Oligosaccharide (A complex form of carbohydrate)," said Nuzhat explaining the special feature of this milk. She also added, "Prebio 1" would promote the growth of beneficial intestinal bacteria, which prevents harmful bacteria from entering the digestive system.
In addition to "Prebio 1", this food has 11 essential minerals, 16 essential vitamins and EFA (Essential Fatty Acid), which helps in the overall physical and mental development of 2-4 year old children, she said.
