Millette Appointed Institut Rosell-Lallemand Americas VP
Jacques Milette will be supported by newly appointed Key Account Manager Orna Zak, based in New York, for the Eastern region of the USA, while the Western part of the USA is covered by Rina Bentajado.
22/09/08 To support its strategic growth on the American continent, Institut Rosell-Lallemand has appointed Mr Jacques Milette as Vice President Americas. With thirty years of marketing and sales experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and diagnostic industries, Jacques Milette brings to the company his extensive knowledge of the North American life science market. Most recently he was Global Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Customer Care of a well established diagnostic company, responsible for all countries in the world excluding China and South Asia. While the probiotic market is rapidly evolving and Institut Rosell’s probiotic solutions are now present all around the world, this new organization reflects the company’s strategy to remain close to its customers in order to offer them specific support and answers: to go global and yet local. Based in Montreal, Jacques Milette oversees the North and South America markets, and will support in particular the development of the US probiotic market.
Jacques Milette graduated from Sherbrooke University, Sherbooke (Canada), and spent the first 22 years of his career evolving within the North American pharmaceutical industry (Abbott, Jouveinal, Parke Davis). The following ten years were spent with innovative biotech and diagnostic industries. In his last position with Adaltis Inc., he was responsible for the worldwide commercialization and sales of an existing line of diagnostic products and oversaw the launch of two new products. He was actively involved in the strategic planning of the company.

Until now, Sylvie Morin was responsible for Institut Rosell’s sales and marketing activities on the American Continent. She has now been nominated Marketing and Business Development Director Americas and will continue to manage sales in Latin America where the company has established its presence over the past two years. She is also directly reporting to Mr. Milette.
