Kemps Introduces New 'Plus Milk' with Omega-3 Fatty Acids to Boost Heart Health, Brain Development

16/01/08 The first-ever milk in the Midwest containing healthful Omega-3 fatty acids derived from fish oil is being introduced by Saint Paul, Minn.-based dairy Kemps. The new line of premium half-gallons, Kemps Plus Milk, is now available in grocery stores throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. Omega-3 fatty acids provide a variety of health benefits, including maintaining cardiovascular health and supporting brain growth and development.

Kemps Plus Milk comes in three varieties:
-- Kemps Plus Healthy Lifestyle, the first fresh milk from Kemps that delivers heart health benefits with Omega-3 fatty acids EPA/DHA. Each serving of this 1 percent milk also delivers 50 percent Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of calcium for healthy bones.
-- Kemps Plus Healthy Kids, a 2 percent milk made especially for children's nutritional needs. The Omega-3 DHA/EPA fatty acids contained in Healthy Kids Milk support brain growth and development. Each serving of Healthy Kids Milk is also an excellent source of calcium for strong bones (50 percent RDA) and Vitamin C (25 percent RDA).
-- Kemps Plus Extra Calcium, skim milk that delivers twice as much calcium as regular milk (60 percent RDA) for strong bone development.
