KaraMD launches mushroom and supergreen supplement for mind and energy
17 Aug 2022 --- The US-based health supplement producer KaraMD is launching Total Clarity to support cognitive health, focus, energy and immunity. The product may also help to relieve stress, support the cardiovascular system and promote general health, the company notes.
“Total Clarity is unique from other offerings on the market because, like all KaraMD products, it was formulated by a medical doctor trained at the renowned Cleveland Clinic. It is non-GMO, vegan-friendly and gluten-free,” Dr. Mahmud Kara, founder and CEO at KaraMD, tells NutritionInsight.
“It is also third-party lab tested for quality and made in an FDA-registered facility.”

“One of the products I’ve been working to develop is called Total Serenity, which is a unique blend of ashwagandha, panax ginseng, lion’s mane mushroom, lemon balm, l-theanine and long jack that have been carefully paired together to help reduce stress, decrease racing thoughts, and improve overall mood and cognitive health,” he continues.
Mushrooms to the rescue
The mushrooms included in the supplement support immunity, cognition and overall health.
The new product is a proprietary blend of lion’s mane, cordyceps, maitake, chaga, shiitake and reishi mushrooms with leafy greens in capsule form. Kara explains that lion’s mane has been shown to reduce anxiety, cordyceps combats fatigue and improves sleep, while reishi mushrooms strengthen the immune system.
Additionally, he explains that maitake mushrooms may lower cholesterol, shiitake can improve cardiovascular health, chaga helps to reduce inflammation, and the supergreens help provide essential minerals, vitamins and nutrients.
“Overall, I selected specific mushroom strains and decided to include greens in Total Clarity because I wanted to offer a comprehensive and enhanced formula compared to other products on the market so that customers could target multiple health areas,” says Kara.
Quality and quantity?
KaraMD further notes that many of the ingredients, such as the cordyceps mushroom, have been used as natural remedies for centuries and that numerous studies have attested to their efficacy. Furthermore, the company holds that the product includes effective amounts from quality sources.
“One of my largest priorities in making products is ensuring that all of the ingredients come from responsible sources and that the ingredients are included in quality concentrations rather than ‘angel dusting’ like some of the other products that may be out there,” affirms Kara.
